School Computer Competition Training program
Computer Training for High School Students!!!
The Rhode Island Chapter of BDPA is recruiting high school students for it hands-on computer training program. Participating students will receive quality instruction in basic programming concepts using the ASP programming language, web page design using HTML, database design and various topics in career development. These are skills that will prove valuable and can immediately be put to practical use.

5 Qualified students will be selected from the training
program to participate in the National High School Computer
Competition (HSCC), which will be held during the BDPA Annual
National Technology Conference in LA, California: August
2-5, 2006.
All expense will be paid by the organization. High school students of BDPA chapters from across the country will have the opportunity to apply what they have learned, network with other high school students, and meet representatives from some of the top companies in the information technology industry.

Classes
are held on Saturdays from 10:am– 1:00pm (includes lunch)
Deadline for Registration is February 15, 2006
Interviews for the program starts February 20, 2006
First Day of Class is March 4, 2006
