Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA) is a membership driven non-profit organization that positions its members at the forefront of Information Technology (IT) Industry. We are committed to deliver IT excellence to members, strategic partners, and local communities. Founded in 1975 in Philadelphia, PA BDPA bridges the Digital Divide with its programs and services. There are more than 50 active chapters located across the United States. Prior to the Rhode Island chapter that was chartered in August 2002, there was no organization in Rhode Island primarily designed to provide information exchange, education and networking opportunities to minority professionals.
