BDPA Rhode Island is starting its annual Back-to-School Supply Drive. Please note that each year the number of children living in the homeless shelters in our community increases. The number of children from 2003 to 2004 almost doubled. Please remember this when making donations and help us make a difference in the lives of the children in our community.
The backpacks of school supplies will be given to children of low-income families and children living at the local shelters. These children will not be able to start school with new supplies without your generous donations. Your donation of new supplies or money will help make this a reality. BDPA-RI is non-profit organization and your donations are tax deductible. Thank you in advance for your support!
Supplies needed are:
Backpacks, pencils, pens, loose leaf paper, folders, spiral notebooks, rulers, glue, Fiskar children's scissors, erasers, highlighters, markers, pencil boxes or pencil bags, Crayola or RoseArt Watercolor Paint Sets, Crayola or RoseArt 24 ct. crayons.
Please drop new school supplies and backpacks off at the following locations between the dates of July 25 – August 20, 2005.
