Internal & External Support Department
The Internal & External Support Department is responsible for managing and coordinating all business operations for BDPA Rhode Island Chapter. This Department’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following areas:

- Policy/Procedures
- Addresses Voice Mailbox Inquiries
- Bylaws
- External Auditing
- Elections
- Parliamentary Procedures
- Legal Services
- Insurance
- Chapter Office Management

Conference Administration

Special Interest Groups (SIG)
Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are established to facilitate and develop relationships between the entrepreneurial and small business membership of the Rhode Island BDPA Chapter and the BDPA Business Partner Community. Business partners are those entities representing larger corporations, government agencies and educational institutions that have aligned themselves with the Rhode Island Chapter of BDPA. This mission is accomplished through the following resources, activities and programs:

- Entrepreneurial database for BDPA Business Members or Partners
- Establish contacts and liaisons within the major institutions for small business members.
- Provide entrepreneurs and small business members access to BDPA Business Members,
- Preferred Vendors List, Small Business Programs and Small Business Funds.
- Offer workshops and seminars preparing small business members to do business with BDPA
- Business Partners
